Milton Cleaners offers same-day dry cleaning on suitable garments when the schedule allows. The useful first step is a phone call: tell us what the piece is, what it needs, and when you need to be wearing it.
Call before you make the trip
Reach the shop at (212) 289-9874 in the morning and describe the garment and any visible stains. Give us the time you need it, including whether you need time to travel or change afterward.
Availability depends on the day’s work and your particular item. We will confirm whether the deadline is possible; there is no universal cutoff that makes every garment a same-day order.
What can take more time
A straightforward garment and a heavily stained or delicate piece are different jobs. Anything requiring additional treatment, repairs, or tailoring may need longer than the same-day schedule permits.
Wedding gowns, suede and leather, rugs, and bulky household textiles should be discussed on their own timetable. A short deadline should not replace the assessment a piece needs.
Agree on the return as well as the cleaning
At drop-off, confirm the collection time and how the order will get back to you. If you want pickup or delivery, ask whether that can fit the same deadline; those arrangements are not automatic with a rush request.
If same-day care is not suitable, we will discuss the next practical date. Standard dry-cleaning turnaround is usually two to three days, with more involved work quoted separately.

What time should I drop off?
Morning drop-off offers the best chance. Call the shop for the timing that applies that day rather than relying on a fixed cutoff.
Can alterations be finished the same day too?
Ask the tailor about the specific work. A same-day cleaning arrangement does not include an automatic promise for repairs, alterations, or a fitting.
Does same-day service include pickup and delivery?
